Older Boomers and Sex


Research has demonstrated how when it comes to aging, attitude can make all the difference.

It’s possible certain stereotypes associated with growing older—such as the fragility, the absent-mindedness and the nonexistent sex-life—are only present if you allow them to be.

According to a 2002 study led by a Yale University psychology professor, men and women aged 50plus who held more positive perceptions of aging lived 7.6 years longer than those with negative concerns.

How seniors can beat Cancer


April is National Cancer Control Month in the United States, and health organizations across the country are making efforts to educate millions of people about the most effective ways they can help prevent the spread of this dangerous disease.

And although Cancer, in all its forms, impacts millions of people every year – about 1.6 million Americans are diagnosed every year, according to the American Cancer Society – the illness does discriminate against older people.
