Recipe: Burgers for the BBQ

This is a recipe I found and modified. I like my barbeque burger to be a little special, but I do NOT like them to taste like grilled meatloaf. I like it to be a BURGER.

Also, if I am going to grill, I feel like I might as well make a good quantity for the trouble. So I adjusted this to make 8 burgers & if there are extras, package them and freeze them for later delicious reheating.

This recipe got rave reviews.

Low-income senior receives therapy dog as donation

“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”  As dog lovers know, our canine friends offer pure unconditional love and loyalty, playing many roles in our lives: family member, psychiatrist, friend and defender.

Ari Yoder experienced this relationship with her beloved service dog, Sammy.  Sammy was her constant companion and, in addition to being her service dog, was also a therapy dog.  Together, they volunteered in a drug treatment facility where Sammy had regular pet therapy groups.

Older Boomers and Sex

Research has demonstrated how when it comes to aging, attitude can make all the difference.

It’s possible certain stereotypes associated with growing older—such as the fragility, the absent-mindedness and the nonexistent sex-life—are only present if you allow them to be.

According to a 2002 study led by a Yale University psychology professor, men and women aged 50plus who held more positive perceptions of aging lived 7.6 years longer than those with negative concerns.
