Description
Challenges associated with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias are a major concern for families and communities. Do you have a family member that is experiencing early symptoms related to a possible dementia or Alzheimer disease? Are you included in the Baby Boomer generation and have concerns about your memory or other related cognitive abilities? Do you have a desire to remain functionally independent in your own private residence? The Network aims to contribute to healthy living as we age by providing early education, training, skill enhancement, consultation, and mentoring sessions for families and individuals. We help reduce any anxiety about aging issues, Alzheimer's disease/dementias and reduced cognitive functioning: memory, attention and concentration. Recognizable declines in communication/language abilities is a major challenge for individuals with an Alzheimer condition and for providers caring for them.Healthy individuals are becoming more concerned about supports to keep their brain healthy. The Network has provided a successful supportive program by arranging customized community forums, corporate trainings, services in private residences, family mentoring, and information sessions in non-traditional settings. Trainings are uniquely adapted to the needs of the community or organization. It is quite popular for the program to receive requests to design programs to help mature persons enhance and maintain a healthy brain to increase focusing, memory, retention and decision making. We provide practise/hands on strategies which target reduced cognitive functioning that can affect all aspects related to daily living. Participants will learn how to apply effective/practical solutions that Alzheimer's clients encounter.Community outreach services are available to diverse/multicultural communities as well. Early and consistent knowledge helps to contribute to healthy communities. We look forward to servicing you. |
