Beers Mallers Backs & Salin, LLP’s team consists of 19 attorneys and 23 staff members. The firm traces its roots to Kennerk & Somers formed in 1901. In 1984, the merger of Dumas Backs Salin & Vegeler (originally Kennerk & Somers) with Adair Perry Beers Mallers & Larmore led to the creation of a full-service law firm.
Elder Law
The Firm's Elder Law Section focuses on the legal needs of the elderly and works with a variety of legal tools and techniques to meet the goals and objectives of the older client. Our elder law practitioners handle general estate planning issues while counseling clients about planning for incapacity with alternative decision-making documents. Our Section's attorneys also assist the client in planning for possible long-term care needs, including nursing home care. Locating the appropriate type of care, coordinating private and public resources to finance the cost of care, and working to assure the client's right to quality care are all part of our elder law practice.
