PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD SHOP 31 RETIREES breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at Strafford Farms Restaurant in Dover. For information, call Dick Foley at (207) 439-2281.

RYE OVER 55 CLUB’s upcoming bus trips include the following. Trip payment checks made out to "Rye Over 55 Travel" may be given to Alice Provencher at a meeting, or mailed to Rye Over 55 Travel, P.O. Box 378, Rye, NH 03870-0378. Please indicate meal selection on check. Payment must be received six weeks prior to the trip. The club meets in Fellowship Hall of the Rye Congregational Church at Rye Center. Lunch is served at noon, reservations should be at the previous meeting or on the Friday before the meeting. Send checks payable to The Rye Over 55 Club to Pat Moy, 96 Wallis Road, Rye, N.H. 03870 (436-4969). On Thursday, Oct. 13, Henry and Cecile Zack will present slides of African Nation Life in Liberia (1970-1972). Lunch will be Stan’s chicken pot pie.

The November trip is pending. On Dec. 16, the club will travel to see "Magic of Christmas," Portland Symphony Orchestra at the Merrill Auditorium at 1 p.m. Organ recital prior to the concert. Lunch at The Village Restaurant. Bus leaves Rye Congregational Church at 10:15 a.m. The cost is $69. For reservations, call Alice Provencher at 436-7492.
