The public is invited to attend an open house at the newly-expanded assisted living facility at St. Francis Home from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18.

The event coincides with the 11th annual National Assisted Living Week, which starts today.

The free event will feature tours, a variety of desserts, musical entertainment, door prizes and quilting and art demonstrations. The facility is located at 33 Everett St.
