American Retirement wins ethics award

American Retirement Corp. has won the Tennessee American Business Ethics Award for the second consecutive year.
 
The company's award was in the large company category. The award, established in 2002, is presented by the Tennessee chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and recognizes companies exemplifying high standards of ethical behavior in their business dealings.

Award recipients are selected by an independent panel of business, academia, and ethics professionals. Winners at the state level advance to national award consideration.

Brentwood-based American Retirement (NYSE: ACR) owns or manages a chain of nursing homes, independent living and assisted living centers in 14 states.
