Greenville Herald-Banner October 13, 2009 By BRAD KELLAR GREENVILLE — The Greenville City Council Tuesday approved a change in zoning for an assisted living center which is being planned for near the Hunt Regional Healthcare Center. Developers asked for a zoning change from office to commercial for three currently vacant acres at 5101 and 5103 Wellington Street. City Planner Lance Estep told the Council that an assisted living center is not allowed under office zoning, but is allowed by right under commercial zoning.
