More than 200 seniors surveyed in two major regions of the city say they have insufficient public transit.

They want shuttles serving seniors to ferry them safely and conveniently around their communities.

The Kitsilano Neighbourhood House and South Vancouver Community Centre surveyed the seniors last year, with 81 per cent favouring a shuttle on the West Side. They want the shuttle to transport them to volunteer gigs, the grocery store, medical appointments and for shopping and social outings.
