Mission Development has announced plans to build a $36 million apartment community for older adults in Mission.

The Cascades at Mission is to be constructed on an 11-acre site at 51st Street and Lamar Avenue.

Its goal will be to offer older adults a lifestyle with more choices and fewer limitations, according to Craig Laderoute, a principal with Mission Development, a local firm.
