Assists facilities and Corporate Office in planning and organizing special events and media opportunities. Arranges for special guests, advises media and writes supporting materials including event itineraries, speeches and news releases Establishes contacts and pursues opportunities that will further corporate interests and objectives, particularly with other health care providers or agencies Develops corporate brochures, annual reports, monthly mailers and other materials for promotion of the company Reviews and updates content of family satisfaction surveys and participate in the analysis of gathered results Assists facilities with projects aimed at strengthening alliances with other local providers, organizations or the broader community Supervise the Director of Community Outreach Aims to increase personal knowledge of long-term care sector, operational issues and related health care issues Identifies and pursues opportunities that assist company in achieving its vision and mission Develops and implements communication strategies aimed at promoting newly constructed Leisureworld facilities Maintain open relationship with Investor Relations representative from Macquarie, stakeholder relations, and media inquiries Develop and maintain organization’s web site Other appropriate duties as delegated by the Chief Operating Officer
