We are currently accepting resumes for the position of NURSE / HEALTH SERVICES DIRECTOR for our ÁEGIS of NORTHGATE community. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct all assessments and coordinate with team members to ensure that assessments and reassessments accurately reflect resident needs and are conducted in a non-clinical manner Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the health records for all residents from Move-In until after Move-Out, according to regulations and company standards Provide information between resident, family and physician on residents’ health care issues Design the service plans and collaborate with others to ensure quality of care and set standards that create a sense of security for the residents Responsible for the overall accuracy and effectiveness of the resident medication delivery system Coordinate with outside providers (e.g., hospice, home health, mental health) to maximize quality of resident care Conduct clinical educational programs for all staff members in health related matters QUALIFICATIONS: Current and valid RN or LPN/LVN license required Experience working in an Assisted Living environment preferred Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff Experience in staff member relations including training and development Manage medication delivery system Experience working as a Staff Development Coordinator, geriatric nursing or gerontology a plus
