Reporting to the Provincial Director, you will be accountable for the effective and efficient operation of all aspects of the home including Resident care and services, food services, recreation services, environmental services, office and property management in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Qualifications
• Certificate/degree in health, business and/or social services;
• Minimum five (5) years relevant management experience, preferably in a long term care setting;
• Successful completion of, or enrollment in, the Canadian Healthcare Association’s LTC Senior Management course or the equivalent;
• Successful completion of, or enrollment in, the Ontario Long Term Care Association’s Administrator’s Certification Program or the equivalent (Ontario-specific);
• Must be a competent person as defined by the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office applications);
• Proficiency in a second language consistent with the Resident Population is considered an asset.
