This facility has designated vacation/respite beds, these beds are for short-term admission of people who are normally cared for at home. This allows the caregiver a rest or vacation for a short period of time. Admission into these beds is coordinated through Capital Health Authority Central Placement Services at 496-7500. The sub-acute rehabilitation beds are for individuals who require intensive rehabilitation and are limited to a 9 month maximum length of stay.

This facility houses three different populations; frail elderly, psycho geriatric illness or developmentally disabled and Alzheimer's type dementia.
