Those who developed Good Samaritan Home carefully created its design and thoughtfully planned its philosophy of care centered on the individual. There are sixty beds in the skilled nursing facility and 48 of them are in private rooms, the remaining 12 beds are in semi-private rooms. In the late 1960’s ground was broken for Good Samaritan Home, which officially opened its doors in December of 1968. Its reputation as a highly-regarded, quality provider of healthcare services quickly spread.

Newton Rest Haven has private rooms as well as 2-3 bed rooms. Our rooms are large and airy with big windows to let the light in. Our elders are able to watch the wildlife from their windows overlooking a spacious lawn filled with trees and flowering shrubs in a lovely rural surrounding.
