Ochoco Care Center offers both long-term and skilled care, and specializes in Alzheimer’s Care. Ochoco Care Center’s secure unit allows residents with dementia and other cognitive disorders the protective environment under the care and supervision of trained dementia specialists. Ochoco Care Center is the only secured skilled care community specializing in dementia care in the Greater Prineville Area.

Sherwood Park was built by the Salway family in 1975, and originally operated as Sherwood Park Nursing Home. Hope Marie Salway Fredrickson has owned and operated the facility for the past 32 years.
