Christie Gardens is a four level "continuum of care" for seniors operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. It is a charitable and non-profit organization.

For more than 22 years, Brian and Jane Forster have developed a loving, caring atmosphere in the Huronia Guest Home for all of their residents and visitors. The couple, along with their son Kevin, run their facility like a home and treat residents like members of the family.

We strive to excel, in service to our community and to our fellow citizens, with provision of high quality compassionate care. Our focus is a client centered health infrastructure that meets the needs of the residents, the community, informal care givers, health care professionals, providers and managers.

Thompson House is a well-maintained, comfortable136- bed charitable Home for the Aged providing primarily semi-private accommodation. We have a smoke free, air-conditioned environment with individual climate controls located in each room.

You have given up your previous home, with its many associations. You have chosen to live in this Long Term Care Facility which has the capacity for 110 residents. While previously this Home was all female, we now accommodate males when rooms with private washrooms are available.
