Founded in 1896, Diakon’s The Lutheran Home at Topton originated as The Lutheran Orphans’ Home, a ministry established to provide care and accommodations for orphaned children. The home was built on a hill overlooking the rolling countryside of northeastern Berks County, Pa.

The Hillcrest Apartments (photo right), located at 1010 Spruce Street, Hollidaysburg offer one or two bedroom units. There are also independent cottages located on the campus (also shown).

Autumn Grove Care Center is a 103 bed skilled nursing facility located in Northern Butler County. The facility is fully licensed by the state of Pennsylvania, and is Medicare/Medicaid/HMO approved.
