Rental of the one-bedroom apartments may be arranged for both long and short term stays. A broad range of services is included in the monthly fee, together with the many social, cultural, and exercise programs. Residents have access to all Welch Healthcare facilities and affiliated organizations

Farnsworth House opened in 1982 to provide rent-subsidized one- and two-bedroom apartments for income-eligible frail elders and others with disabilities.The Farnsworth Housing Corporation owns the building, which has been managed by Rogerson Communities since it opened.
