The Imperial, is the only facility of its kind in the city of Chicago, offering a breadth of comprehensive services ranging from assisted living to medically complex care. Our patient-care management enhances the level of clinical services so that we can care for the higher acuity skilled/subacute care population.

Hospital services include acute and skilled nursing care beds, long-term care, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, home health care, a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services including nuclear scanning, computed tomography (CT) scanning, stress testing, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), bone densitometry, mammography, and ultrasound, as well as patient and community education programs.

In 1962, Plum Landing opened its door as a not for profit organization. Its garden apartments, then as now, provided a secure environment for active, mature adults who wanted to live independently. Every phase of planning for Plum Landing had as its goal provided facilities and services to make the "Golden years" truly golden.
