Created for residents who need minimal assistance but benefit from the warm, stimulating social environment afforded by our community, Waterford Gardens also offers a secure Alzheimer’s unit for residents who need additional support and structure.
At Waterford Gardens, our residents can spend more time with family and friends while our caring and dedicated staff handles the chores and supports their health and well-being.
Our basic living program provides three well-balanced, nutritious meals daily plus snacks throughout the day, 24-hour access to staff, participation in activities and social events, scheduled transportation, all utilities except phone and cable and weekly housekeeping and laundering of bed and bath linens. Breakfast is always served to order and residents can choose from several entrees and delicious side items for both lunch and dinner.
For residents who want or need additional care, we provide medication management, and supportive assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Depending upon a resident’ level of care, he or she may also receive enhanced assistance with ADLs or comprehensive assistance with ADLs and incontinence management.
Residents who need memory care are enrolled in our Evergreen Living program. They receive Alzheimer’s/dementia care, medication management, supportive assistance with ADLs, incontinence management and participation in an Alzheimer’s support group. Waterford Gardens is affiliated with the Center for Health in Aging at Emory University in Atlanta. |
