The Victorian has the distinction of having a five star status since 2001 and has received the Foodsafe Award of Excellence. The gardens at The Victorian are beautifully kept year round, with landscaping that includes a walk-around circuit, a fishpond, mature trees, shrubs, roses, rhododendrons, and much more. The gardens also feature a beautiful, Japanese themed water park, complete with goldfish, reflective pond and walking bridge.
If and when you finally manage to pull yourself away from the community, there are five golf courses within five kilometers, as well as a shopping center within three. The city of Victoria is known for being a city of flowers and gardens. The famous Buchart Gardens are a mere 10 km away. For a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean, one only needs travel five km. VictoriaÆs diverse community still retains a strong sense of British ambiance and gentility.
The community also takes weekly bus trips to various points of interest with their regional award winning bus driver including drives to the ocean, countryside, or parks. |
