My mother resided at Sunrise of Glen Cove from 2004 until her death at age 100 in 2008. She was a resident of Sunrise due to dementia.
We live 3000 miles away in Washington State. I visited my mother with my husband and one or two of our daughers as often as possible, perhaps 3-5 times a year.
I spoke with the staff weekly. I cannot say enough about the caring, competent help, from the first day they had to deal with this anxious daughter.
My mother was loved and well-cared for by all the staff. The management staff treated me with the same exceptional care. It was not an easy time, but I am very grateful for Sunrise of Glen Cove, which is in fact, three blocks from my mother's home.
