Located at the foothills of the Sierra Mountains, Sierra Hills Retirement Center sits in one of the most beautiful locations found anywhere. Shopping at Target, Mervyn’s, Wal-Mart, and Sears all less than a mile and a half away, as well as many other great local shops and markets. Three golf courses are in the immediate area, including a country club, and there are two national parks close to the facility. Excellent public transportation means residents without transportation can enjoy all these wonderful activities without missing a beat. If that’s not enough, Sierra Hills occasionally provides residents with day trips to the outlet malls in Tulare (15 miles), large mall in Visalia (22 miles), or either of the two enormous malls in Bakersfield (50 miles).
