Pioneer Valley Lodge sits in a residential area, but there is a specialty hospital across the street, an elementary school around the corner, nearby churches, and the property is partially bordered by farmland. In fact, Pioneer Valley Lodge sits on ten acres of former Cache Valley farmland. Ten acres surrounded by gorgeous mountains on the east and west, and landscaped with a dozen varieties of trees and twenty different kinds of shrubs. There are over 1200 trees and shrubs in all, which make for very wonderful colors during the areas four distinct seasons. Beautiful views can also be enjoyed - gorgeous colors in the fall and wonderful snow capped mountains in the winter - out every apartment window.
All types of shopping, including a mall, are within a five-minute drive. Over twenty-five parks are less than fifteen minutes away. Several golf courses are in the valley, many with senior discounts. Residents of Pioneer Valley Lodge are never with a lack of things to do. Nearby restaurants, movie theaters, and cultural entertainment (plays, operas, theater, music, etc.) also provide a host of activities, as do the sporting events, speakers, and concerts at Utah State University.
