Parkway Village, Inc., an Arkansas not-for-profit corporation, was formed July 8, 1982, exclusively to provide through its local Board of Directors the very best in “healthful” retirement living. The continuing care retirement community is available to persons 64 years of age and older who are ambulatory and able to live independently in cottages or apartment units. Parkway Village, Inc. was sponsored by Baptist Health, which is the largest healthcare provider in the state of Arkansas.
Parkway Village, Inc. embraces the concept of an entrance fee as well as a monthly fee. These fees are determined by the size of the unit selected, as well as the number of occupants residing in the unit. The maximum occupancy for any unit is two persons. A percentage of the initial entrance fee (Up to 85%, but never less than 70%) is returned to the resident or to their estate after the unit is vacated and re-occupied. The refund is determined by the number of years of residency at Parkway Village.
