EdenBrook of Dunwoody, which is open to all, celebrates the rich traditions, holiday observances and culture of the Jewish lifestyles - including providing meals that observe Jewish dietary laws. We are ideally located in one of the most desirable residential areas in Atlanta, Dunwoody. Nestled just northwest of Georgia 400 and I-285, the community is located on Mt. Vernon Highway adjacent to B'nai Torah synagogue, just west of Barfield Road and east of Roswell Road. We understand that each resident is an individual with unique needs and preferences. That’s why we meet with residents and family and conduct an assessment — prior to move-in and at regular intervals after move-in — to understand the need for assistance and support.
This assessment helps determine the appropriate care and service that preserves each resident’s dignity, encourages independence and best enables freedom of choice. The assessment results in determining a specific service level based on the amount of assistance provided.
Upon completion of the assessment, a team comprised of the Executive Director, Assisted Living or Memory Care Coordinator, Health Care Coordinator, and our designated Care Manager prepares an individualized service plan that is monitored on a daily basis.
Because we know that quality of life depends on both environment and relationships, we focus on these two factors. We have determined that a carefully thought out physical environment and the culture within it would come from the people and relationships living and working in that setting.
At Sunrise, we recognize that diet is one of the most important aspects of a senior’s life. All of our communities serve three, delicious and well-balanced meals daily. Plus snacks are always available throughout the day.
Because our activity programs are tailored to our residents, each community’s calendar will vary according to the individual preferences of the residents who live there. |
