Within an hour and a half drive of downtown Los Angeles, Bakersfield has been titled the newest “bedroom” community in the Southlands.
Columbus Estates is a mile and a half from a PGA championship golf course, and inside a four-mile radius of six additional golf courses that offer a challenge to the most fastidious golfer. Easthills Mall is within walking distance from our front door and features a movie theater, dining, as well as 87 different stores for your shopping pleasure. For those with entertainment on their minds, Bakersfield boasts the famous Centennial Gardens, where national as well as international entertainment is featured on a weekly, if not daily, basis. Country lovers will enjoy the nationally known “Buck Owens Crystal Palace” which features daily top country musicians from around the United States. Indian Gaming Casinos are within an hour and a half’s drive from Columbus Estates, and we make the trip at least every six weeks.
Columbus Estates is located in a college/country club setting. Bakersfield College with its nationally recognized football program is a mile to the west, and if you throw a stone from the south side of our estates you might actually reach the manicured grounds of the famous Bakersfield Country Club.
