Breckenridge Village is owned and operated by Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services (OPRS), Ohio’s largest and most experienced not-for-profit provider of continuing care retirement communities and services. Since 1922, the communities and programs of OPRS have defined the highest standards of quality of life for older adults. A distinguishing feature of OPRS is the Life Care Commitment – ensuring the same quality of care for our residents, even if they exhaust their resources for reasons beyond their control.
Breckenridge Village has been accredited for 15 consecutive years by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission, an independent organization that promotes quality and integrity in continuing care retirement centers. Breckenridge Village has received awards for innovation, quality, horticulture and architectural design. In addition, Breckenridge Village has been the recipient of numerous grants, gifts and endowments that have enhanced the campus and services, including an on-site child care facility for employees, intergenerational programming opportunities, Stephen Ministry program, research, transportation and education. Breckenridge Village also is supported by a corps of volunteers who annually provide more than 41,000 hours of service.
