Valley Vista Care Center of Sandpoint

Valley Vista's Skilled care Centers provide short-term rehabilitative stays for those recovering from surgeries or an illness until they have completely healed or build up their strength in order for them to return to their home. Long-term care is provided 24-hous a day by trained and professional staff for those suffering from chronic or terminal conditions. Families are encouraged to participate with the care and/or recuperation of their loved one during their stay in our care centers. Each resident is invited to bring furnishings from home to decorate their room to make it feel as much like their familiar surroundings as possible. Regular activities are planned and residents are encouraged to participate to help maintain mobility, range-of-motion and stability to keep them as active as they are capable of. The dietary department follows doctor's orders in providing the appropriate foods and consistencies of meals for each resident. Alternative meals may be requested if a resident does not care for or can not eat the meals being served. Nutritional snacks are provided throughout the day.
