The Highlands at Lake Forest Place offers several apartment options, including studios and one-bedroom apartments with full baths. Small tea kitchens are available in each apartment. Meals are served in the gracious dining room.
Services are based on an individual's need. Meals, housekeeping, stand-by assistance with bathing and dressing, emergency call systems and 24-hour security are included for all residents. Additional supportive services include

The Balmoral Care Center is home to those who need short- or long-term care. For some, it's a short stay while they rehabilitate following hospitalization. For others, it's a decision to live here as a permanent resident because they need round-the-clock assistance, medical attention or security. All skilled nursing and rehabilitation services are Medicare-approved.
Residents of neighboring communities as well as residents of Presbyterian Homes can benefit from services of the Balmoral Care Center.
Balmoral Care Center is designed to look and feel like home. Every resident enjoys a private room. The sun-filled rooms overlook our beautiful campus, flowering terraces and gardens. Dining areas are gracious and inviting.
At Lake Forest Place, we have embraced a philosophy of interacting with residents called person-centered care.  We agree to honor the choices, preferences and abilities of all residents.
Person-centered care requires Balmoral Care Center staff members to listen carefully for resident preferences and desires. The goal of person-centered care is to transform our communities into places where people choose to live, not because they have to live there.
Memory Care at Balmoral Care Center
The Balmoral Care Center has one of the most innovative, patient-centered programs in the country. An entire floor was specially designed to enhance the quality of life for residents with memory loss. All rooms are private.
A special sensory garden is a unique environment that is safe for residents to explore. Music, games, movies, and off-campus trips keep residents engaged and motivated.

The Balmoral Care Center's rehabilitation program is designed to help each resident achieve the highest level of independence possible. Residents who enter the program may be recovering from a stroke, heart attack, or orthopedic surgery. Complete Medicare-approved rehabilitation services include physical, occupational and speech therapy. Aquatic therapy is offered in a warm-water therapy pool in the fitness center. In addition, a full-time rehabilitation nurse coordinates care between nursing and rehabilitation.
