Located just minutes from the historic Roswell district and downtown Atlanta and close to GA-400, Sunrise at Huntcliff Summit II is close to Northside and St. Joseph's Hospital as well as local shopping centers and restaurants. On a setting of 17.5 acres off Roswell Road, the community offers paved walking paths with scenic views of the campus as well as a community rose garden completed and overseen by our residents. Our residents enjoy a lovely gazebo and access to an indoor swimming pool. We pride ourselves in offering care options for most needs, as well as At Home care and respite services. We understand that each resident is an individual with unique needs and preferences. That’s why we meet with residents and family and conduct an assessment — prior to move-in and at regular intervals after move-in — to understand the need for assistance and support.
This assessment helps determine the appropriate care and service that preserves each resident’s dignity, encourages independence and best enables freedom of choice. The assessment results in determining a specific service level based on the amount of assistance provided.
Upon completion of the assessment, a team comprised of the Executive Director, Assisted Living or Memory Care Coordinator, Health Care Coordinator, and our designated Care Manager prepares an individualized service plan that is monitored on a daily basis.
Because we know that quality of life depends on both environment and relationships, we focus on these two factors. We have determined that a carefully thought out physical environment and the culture within it would come from the people and relationships living and working in that setting.
At Sunrise, we recognize that diet is one of the most important aspects of a senior’s life. All of our communities serve three, delicious and well-balanced meals daily. Plus snacks are always available throughout the day.
Because our activity programs are tailored to our residents, each community’s calendar will vary according to the individual preferences of the residents who live there.
