The area is home to more than 15 parks (one just a mile away) including the Pathfinder Parkway, an eleven-mile scenic trail for hiking, running, and bicycling. For golf enthusiasts, the area has two private golf clubs and one public course, Adams Municipal - considered the nicest course in the area by many local golfers - just a mile away. Bartlesville also features the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve Drive, a fifty-mile driving tour which offers excellent views of a 37,000 sq. ft. Preserve designed to recreate a tall grass prairie eco-system. The area has excellent site seeing, over ninety different churches, education opportunities, shopping – something for everyone! From the choral society, civic ballet, and symphony to the history museum, theater guild, and Tom Mix museum, Bartlesville is even home to a very active cultural community. The area is probably most famous for Oklahoma Mozart Festival, a weeklong tribute to classical Mozart that is renowned on an international level. Each year for a week in June, both orchestral concerts and chamber music are performed in a variety of locations in the town, including the Community Center's outdoor amphitheater, a historic ranch and nature preserve, a downtown church, and the Wright-designed Price Tower (known as one of America’s finest acoustic concert halls). In addition to the major concerts featuring renowned guest artists, there are morning mini-concerts, afternoon Chamber Concerts plus more than seventy showcase events every day highlighting this region of mid-America with performances, tours, demonstrations and activities for visitors of all ages
