The vibrant continuum of care campus of Jennings Center for Older Adults embodies the warmth of home. Large windows invite bright sunlight. Neighbors provide companionship and comfort. Children’s laughter warms the heart. A mission-driven, non-profit community, Jennings Center for Older Adults focuses on the mind, body and spirit of older adults.
Deeply rooted in its Catholic heritage, Jennings Center for Older Adults has been serving older adults since 1942. Its spiritual focus is comforting not only to those who can celebrate their Catholic traditions daily, but also to those of other faiths who seek a values-based community. A dedicated on-site Chapel offers daily Mass and Rosary, as well as being a place of solace for all.
Built in 2003, assisted living residences include catered independence. An Executive Chef and dining staff prepare three home-cooked meals each day, served restaurant style. Spacious apartment style suites are available in one- and two-bedroom models. Each suite features a separate kitchenette, living room, bedroom, private bathroom and walk-in closet. These private, comfortable suites need only your personal touch with your chosen furniture and treasured furnishings. The suites are also ideal for married couples---or even two siblings---whose interests or care needs are different.
Assisted living and dementia care assisted living are just two services that Jennings provides daily to more than 300 older adults. The campus also offers independent senior apartments, adult day services, nursing home, and respite/short stay suites. Peace of mind is being part of a community where you won’t have to leave if you require additional assistance such as rehabilitation, nursing home, or skilled nursing care.
Celebration of Life is one of the core values at Jennings, exemplified through life-enriching activities and amenities of the lively community. Enjoy music programs, arts, Happy Hour, resident council meetings, group outings and more. An on-site infant and child care center enables daily intergenerational interaction.
An on-site Wellness Center offers the opportunity to see some specialty physicians and manage your own medical appointments. Visit the gift and snack shop or beauty/barber shop, participate in holistic therapies or even volunteer. Beautifully tended gardens throughout the 26+ acre campus offer a comforting landscape for private walks or larger gatherings. Large and small indoor areas are available for casual socializing or to reserve for private resident or family events.
