The Sunset Nursing Home accepts both Medicaid and Medicare, as well as private pay and long-term care insurance, residents and is licensed by the Texas Department of Human Services. Membership is also maintained in the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging and the Texas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.

Nestled in a picturesque wooded area, the Village property is comprised of 80 acres that support abundant foliage, a 10-acre fishing lake, scenic walking trails and playful wildlife. Lovett Place has a homelike atmosphere with beautiful Queen Anne furniture and azalea gardens. Each room contains lots of windows with lovely views. In front there is a large, old- fashioned porch for relaxing and enjoying our beautiful gardens. Lovett place offers various size rooms, all designed with you and your individual happiness in mind.

We offer a variety of services that meet the individual needs and capacities of our residents. We assist some individuals with recuperation after hospital discharge and with their efforts to return to their highest level of functioning and independence. For others, whose activities of daily living cannot be adequately provided for in their own homes, we provide ongoing care in a safe and supportive environment.

In addition to housing, we provide personal care, support services, and nursing services according to the individual needs of its residents, as permitted by state law.
