The Good Samaritan Mountain View Centre opened in Hinton in 2002. Recently, the facility was converted from continuing care/supportive housing to Designated Assisted Living (DAL) to better serve the Hinton community. This facility is adjacent to the Hinton Hospital and is linked via a pedway on the second floor.

The Designated Assisted Living (DAL) Program at the Magrath Community Health Centre consists of 25 studio suites. The program offers residents the flexibility to prepare breakfast and lunch in their own suite, if they choose. Residents are encourage to furnish and personalize their suite with their own belongings. Spruce Grove Centre accommodates individuals or couples, where one person is a resident and the spouse an independent "companion" not requiring care. Adhering to our Christian Hospitality model of care, it means that husbands and wives need not be separated because one of them is no longer able to cope in their regular home.
