This being Phase I of the Stony Plain Care Centre re-development opened in April 2006. There is one 30-bed cottage to house residents with Alzheimer's or dementia. The Designated Assisted Living (DAL) Program at the Magrath Community Health Centre consists of 25 studio suites. The program offers residents the flexibility to prepare breakfast and lunch in their own suite, if they choose.
