London, England, July 19 to 22, is the scene of IAHSA's 8th International Conference – Leadership beyond Borders. RetirementHomes.com will be flying as a special guest to this world-wide conference as requested by the International Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (IAHSA) – the Global Ageing Network.
Evan Heltay, President of RetirementHomes.com, is jetting overseas for a 90-minute workshop, Online Marketing for the International Senior Housing Industry! The presentation will take place on Tuesday, July 21 at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, the meeting point of Leadership Beyond Borders.
"This is like The Beatles and the British Invasion but in reverse," said Evan laughing. "But seriously," he resumed, "England's senior housing network is very highly developed and we have created a growing beachhead. Over 700 UK residences take advantage of our services, and IAHSA 2009 is a wonderful opportunity to reach out and educate the UK and the international community about online marketing".
IAHSA 2009 will feature plenary sessions with keynote speakers, symposia, workshops and global cafés. As well, it will showcase the International Design for Ageing Programme, a survey and exhibit of state-of-the-art trends in senior living from around the world. Social events will bring together global attendees.
A special report on Evan's workshop at Leadership Beyond Borders will be featured in Target Directories Corporation News when he returns from England in late July.
