My 91 year old mother lives with me and my husband. She is ambulatory but not able to be by herself for extended periods of time (short term memory issues; unstable, etc). We are still very active and often like to spend weekends away. We have been reluctant to do so since Mom can't be left alone for extended periods of time. We are looking for occasional, reliable "in-house" care-takers or a facility who can/will care for my mother for a week-end or other brief periods of time. Do such people/places exist in the Atlanta, Georgia area?
