September 2010 Newsletter – Turn, Turn, Turn Can't Post Private Reply

To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose.

September. Summer ended too soon, folded up like lakefront deck chairs and put into storage. It’s been a good summer. Part work. Part leisure.

A time to plant, a time to reap.

September is harvest time. Grains, vegetables and fruits ripen.

Adults mature. September 12 is National Grandparents Day: “to honor grandparents and help children become aware of strength, information, and guidance older people can offer” – Congressional proclamation – a great idea since 56 million grandparents live in the United States.

A time to dance, a time to mourn.

This month, we celebrate the contribution of working people with a Labor Day parade – we commemorate the thousands who died on 9/11. September compels us to reflect on the good times and the bad. It’s an hour glass with the final sands running down – a hopeful rainbow of fallen leaves.

Turn, turn, turn.

Welcome to the September RetirementHomes.com Newsletter. I’m proud to present a colorful array of contributors.

. Lydia Miller of the Miller Touch Training Group addresses the concerns of seniors and how to offer sound solutions.

. New contributor Anthony Lipschitz of StopOver Inc. writes about opportunities for retirement home managers to rent guest rooms to baby boomers.

. Veteran mature marketer Michael P. Sullivan of 50-Plus Communications Consulting explains the aging cognitive shift to the brain's right side; the effectiveness of explaining sales concepts in a creative way.

. Tech and the Baby Boomer blogger - Esther Surden - finds delight in the digital team play of iPad and RollingStone magazine.

. Upcoming Events

. Clint Maun, CPS shows how journaling can alleviate stess in the difficult healthcare profession.

ENJOY!

A time for peace, I swear it's not too late.
