June, a great month of anticipation for the hot days ahead. Lots of flowers and weddings. All in all, a satisfying month. For senior residents, retirement managers and marketers, it's always time to keep the online interest flowering. The Internet is resistant to seasons; always in bloom. The market keeps growing as seniors and baby boomers continue to head online. The Pew Internet & American Life Project *Generations Online in 2009* from January 28, 2009, demonstrates that US Senior Internet Users are surging online. A few telling examples identify 91% of seniors in the 64 to 72 age group utilizing e-mail, 85% of this age group employing search engines, 73% investigating products and health information and making travel arrangements. Seniors enjoy the most discretionary income of any group making them an extremely attractive target for marketers. It's a good season to think positive and look ahead.
