The Methodist Home of the District of Columbia (MHDC) is a unique non-profit retirement community offering a continuum of care. Assisted living, nursing, rehabilitation, and medical health services are provided in an intimate family-like setting at an affordable monthly cost- with no entry fee.
The Methodist Home first opened its doors on an April morning in 1889, providing for seven senior members of a Methodist Episcopal Church in the District of Columbia.
