At Marquis, we believe that the most important thing we can give our residents is respect — for their lives, opinions and accomplishments. Our mission is to enable them to live life to its fullest, whatever their age or health. We recognize that our residents don’t always come to us by choice, but by necessity. That’s why we do everything we can to make the experience as enjoyable as possible by encouraging independence and individuality.

Residents are actively engaged in solving puzzles, painting, and playing games in the dining room. Over in the Sun Room, women are enjoying a little pampering by getting a manicure and having their hair done. Just a few may be watching a show in the TV room because an indoor game of beach-ball is much more fun. At Vista Hills, our residents enjoy a balance of activities, attentive care and independence based upon their abilities and desires.

Our Skilled Nursing Center includes a separate unit dedicated to the care of residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. In some centers this unit is called the Passages community or the Reflections community. Our Alzheimer’s program is designed to celebrate the spirit of our residents.
