Ebenezer, which means “stone of help,” was founded in 1917 by Minneapolis Lutherans who were concerned about caring for homeless older adults. For more than 90 years, Ebenezer has provided compassionate, community-centered care for older adults and others in need. As partners since 1995 with Fairview Health Services, we offer the combined resources and expertise of the best in senior services and health care.

Providence Place is located just south of downtown Minneapolis. It is a 211 bed facility which offers two recently renovated floors including the Female Alzheimer's Unit and the Rehabilitation Unit. Built on the location of the former Nile Theatre, half of Providence Place was built in 1983. The second half was build in 1995. The fact that the building is very new makes the facility unique and more spacious then long term care facilities in the area.
