Residents’ share of rent at Hale Mahaolu housing sites is usually based on 30% of adjusted gross income. The housing sites for the elderly and disabled consist of primarily single story apartments with sufficient yard space for gardening. Our elderly residents enjoy the same amenities as in our family housing sites, along with additional benefits aimed at enhancing the “golden years.” Audio/visual buzzers connect each apartment to a Neighbor Alert system.
