Kings Rehabilitation Center (KRC) was organized in 1965 by parents and community individuals concerned about young disabled adults and their future following Special Education in the public schools. Kings Rehab was established to provide training, work experience, and social skills that enable the disabled to compete in the employment world. KRC was incorporated in 1965 as a non-profit organization. The doors opened with 5 clients and 1 staff person.
