Heritage Manor Gillespie was constructed in 1970. At the time, the skilled facility housed 98 residents. Additions in 1994 and 1998 increased residency to 118. In 2003, the entire facility became Medicare Certified. Heritage Manor Gillespie is a member of the Illinois Health Care Association, the American Health Care Association, and the local Coal County Chamber of Commerce.
