The Village is located on a 17-acre tract of land known as the Brevillier Estate. Located five miles east of downtown Erie, it is bound on the north by Lake Erie and on the south by East Lake Road.

The Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center is a private nonprofit corporation offering Residential Living, Personal Care/Assisted Living, Memory Support, Skilled Nursing Care and Respite and Rehabilitation Services.

Originally an elementary school, this large building was transformed into personal-care apartments serving 80 residents. Each apartment has a private bath, kitchenette, living room and bedroom space. In 1996, a 60-bed addition providing extended care was opened completing a continuum of health services to 140 residents.

Today, in comfortable surroundings, a dedicated staff of caregivers provides gentle, personal, tender care to God's aging people in a network of homes across the region.

Built in 1967, the Erie Presbyterian Lodge was designed specifically to serve as a home for older adults. To extend the options available to its residents, an addition was built in 1980. The expansion provides space for extended care for 82 residents.

In 1943, Presbyterian Homes was founded, by a group of concerned citizens, as a warm, homelike solution for this region's aging population. While our origins lie in the Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Homes is an independently funded, 501 (c) (3)nonprofit organization. We welcome all people, regardless of their religious affiliation or financial capabilities.
