Council for Jewish Elderly (CJE) is an innovative provider of community-based and residential programs and services for older adults and their families throughout Chicago and its surrounding suburbs.

Johnston R. Bowman Health Center provides posthospital inpatient recovery and rehabilitation services. Services include a special unit for geriatric psychiatry patients. Bowman’s model of care is patient-centered and family-centered. We are developing ways to ensure that patients and families are the center of individualized treatment plans and goals. As part of its overall continuum of services, Bowman also provides 30 residential apartments for seniors.
