The mission of the A. W. Schlesinger Geriatric Center is to provide competent and compassionate residential and community based care in a protected environment to those of all beliefs who are in need of its services.

Sabine Oaks Home is a non-profit home set on beautifully landscaped grounds. We offer assisted living care for those who are no longer able to live independently. The home is governed by a volunteer board of directors. We are committed to providing quality care in a home-like atmosphere. Sabine Oaks Home is classified as a large Type B facility by the state.

It is often said that senior adults are traveling through their second childhood. At The Ridgewood we encourage the fun and the spirit of that statement. We are always thrilled when the younger generation comes to call. We were inundated at Easter and we were delighted. We also visited area hospitals. Ridgewood residents are terrific with community outreach.
